Kelsey Wheeler

Kelsey Wheeler, PhD, is Founder and CEO of Tulip Biosciences, a biotechnology company developing mucin-mimetic therapeutics that restore barrier function and prevent recurrent infections. Her work sits at the intersection of mucus biology, microbiology, and translational medicine, building on research conducted at Massachusetts Institute of Technology that established the scientific foundation for Tulip’s platform. Following postdoctoral training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, she co-founded Tulip to advance microbiome-preserving therapies that harness the body’s natural defense systems to address significant unmet needs in women’s health and beyond.
